The Uckfield Motor Services Team

Symon has been in the trade for 45 years, starting Uckfield Motor Services 30 years ago. Has overseen the expansion of the business in recent years and he’s an MOT tester.

Melanie has been by the side of Symon since the beginning of Uckfield Motor Services.

Edward has been with the company for 15 years and has worked through the workshop to running the day-to-day of the business with his brother Harry.

Harry has been with the company for 14 years. He started as an apprentice and has built up an invaluable knowledge of vehicles. He now runs the day to day of the business with Edward whilst overseeing the technicians.

• Various diagnostic courses

Hannah has been with the business for 7 years. Hannah came to the business running the reception but has now recently become our Account Director. She assists Edward and Harry with the running of the business and managing the account side of the business.

Bradley has been with UMS for 4 years since leaving school. He started his apprenticeship and finished his level 2. He has now moved to the position of service advisor and works alongside James our Service Manager in the day to day running of reception.

Alan has been with the business for 17 years and has been in the trade for 46 years since leaving school. He is now our main MOT tester. He knows the MOT guide inside out.

Harry has been with the business for 7 years, he joined Uckfield Motor Services when he left school.

Jack has been with the business for 3 years and has been in the trade for 7 years.

Darren has been with the business for 2 years and has been in the trade for 35 years.

• Various mechanical and diagnostic courses.

Elliot has been with the business for 2 years and has been in the trade for 8 years.

• Level 3 Hybrid and EV
• Level 3 Mechanics
• Various diagnostic and air con courses

Connor has been with the business for 2 years since leaving school. He is currently in his 3rd-year apprenticeship.

James has been with us for 1 year, and has previous industry experience working in car sales and service advisory. James will usually be the first voice and face you see when speaking with us and has a wealth of car knowledge to be able to assist you.

Jay joined the UMS team in April 2023, Jay looks after all things parts from ordering, checking in and any queries.

Iwan joined us in August 2023.

Alex Joined us in February 2023.
